Market Research is an essential business skill that can significantly empower students...

Explore sales, marketing, and general business functions to build a strong foundation of growth for any future career.
Short Answer: It is necessary
Schools need to start reaching students in new ways. Our world is changing more rapidly with each passing year, so we need to get creative with our educational initiatives to help students keep up.
Higher Education is becoming less popular, with enrollment decreasing almost 10% over the past 10 years in Ohio (Learn more HERE). Students are starting to see other options, yet still would benefit from business growth education. Not to mention, our communities' economy relies upon it, so it is up to our primary educational institutions to help fill this need.
Modern technology and access to resources is opening High School students' eyes to potential opportunities much more than ever before. It is our duty as educators to guide them so they are not left wandering aimlessly.
Exploring business education, with a focus on Marketing and Sales, in High School gives us the ability to change lives and communities at a much more effective and efficient pace. How great does it feel to know a student has a bright future, one that may differ from the traditional academic, contributing to society while supporting your community's businesses?
Rise up to the unique challenges we all face today so future generations are more prepared to live fruitful lives, serving as positive influences within their communities for a brighter future all around.

The first semester is the only place we face potential challenge. Mainly because new is scary. People don't always like stepping into the unknown. Students and professionals alike.
What better time to teach people how to step into discomfort than in High School? You can do this by encouraging a unique growth opportunity early. Then, word of mouth will take over and excitement will spread quickly! Ryan is here to help with this.
Once we have one class underway, word of mouth marketing (This is something we discuss within the class as well.) takes over and demand is no longer a concern. Student buzz around the power, uniqueness, relatability and fun of this class will fill the course for semesters to come. (Read more about that HERE)
Students will clearly see the real-world applications of these lessons. They will gain hands on experience with each topic giving them the awareness they need to make more informed career decisions while stepping more confidently into moments of growth and discomfort.
Ultimately changing their perspective on the world and their ability to influence it. Preparing them for internships, pre and post graduation careers and effective, efficient collegiate endeavors.
We make this content fun and engaging to learn by following a standardized template for each topic. Addressing all learning styles (visual, auditory, written, kinesthetic) while presenting both personal and professional relatability for real life application.

What kind of experiences and takeaways do students have while taking this class?
"Ryan was a teacher of mine. As a student who often times didn’t see the real life application of many of my classes, Ryan’s Understanding Organizational Growth course was different, and cultivated my attention.
We were taught real life business skills and strategies such as the importance of networking, marketing and working through structured and detailed sales processes.
I immediately implemented these strategies into my lawn/landscaping business and looked forward to every class. Ryan has a passion for business, passing on his knowledge and skills and watching his friends and clients succeed.
Thank you for all you’ve taught me and the extra time you took to help me grow closer toward my dream of entrepreneurship."
"I met Ryan as my Business teacher my Senior Year at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. I signed up for the class because it seemed like one of those few classes that had real life application ... little did I know how far it would take me.
Ryan walked our class through his sales strategies, methods, and philosophies. He threw us into networking events, elevator pitches, and invited us to step outside of our comfort zones. It blew me away.
For 80 minutes every other day, Ryan mentored me and my business partners in the class as well as anyone else who wanted to listen. Easy to say, it was the single greatest class I have ever taken. He took a special interest in fostering our ambition both in and out of the class.
This class changed my perspective on learning and the world of business."
I met Ryan on the first day of classes senior year of high school at CHCA, where he was teaching a brand new class. Interestingly none of his qualifications correlated with classroom teaching. That’s what made Ryan the best teacher throughout my High School career, he did not care about books or quizzes. Rather he cared about concept. Ryan would show the class a concept for brand building like “Value Statements” he would then explain the importance of a value statement; then he would make the students create one for their own brand.
Personally, my original value statement was bad. What set Ryan far apart from other teachers is rather then flunking me for creating a bad value statement, he would work with me to improve upon it allowing me to truly understand and learn what a good value statement is. Now this style of teaching with Ryan persisted throughout his entire course where he truly wanted students to learn the fundamentals that he taught.
Ryan is dynamic, sharp, and extremely well spoken. He can explain any topic in the world of business to a two year old in a heart beat. Making this one of the most impactful classes I have taken.”
"This course has been a huge success with students and parents alike and has fostered incredible growth for students in real-world application, soft skills education, and overall engagement."
- Stephen C.
"...Understanding Organizational Growth would have been instrumental in helping me identify, hire, and develop the growth-minded individuals, with exceptional sales and marketing acumen, that I needed for my business to thrive."
- Brent B.
"He wants to share his experience, knowledge and skills with students so they can enter the professional world with greater understanding of business and growth for expedited impact."
- Lisa T.
"I have also noticed that our corporate recruiters favor students who are creative, innovative, and comfortable dealing with uncertainty. So, having an entrepreneurial mindset has positive implications for our students' internship and job opportunities."
- Darryl R.
Ignium Education was born out of need and is fueled by passion. Passion for igniting business education and for preparing our future generations in ways Ryan wishes he would have been prepared.
Business is such a big part of so many careers, yet it isn't traditionally discussed until a student chooses, and has the opportunity, to advance into higher education. Ryan is determined to change that and he feels like the perfect professional for the job.
He started out as a young entrepreneur, went on to graduate from the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati, and spent a decade in various disciplines across corporate settings. Now, he serves small businesses as a growth consultant while teaching High School students how to Understand Organizational Growth.
Students deserve to have as much information about potential careers as possible, as early in their educational journey as possible. They also deserve to be taught the soft skills necessary to succeed in business, by understanding how various business disciplines operate and collaborate with each other to deliver value to the world.
General business, marketing and sales functions touch almost every part of our lives, whether we are working directly within one of these disciplines or not. Ryan is dedicated to sharing this awareness with High School students across Ohio. Making it relatable to their day-to-day lives while showing them the impact each of these disciplines have on organizations of all kinds.
If a student can understand organizational growth, they can better understand themselves, relationships, roles within a career and their impact on the world! This is the challenge Ryan has accepted, and will pursue relentlessly.
